On Sunday 21 May 2023, the St Anthony’s Chess Team took part in the 2nd edition of the Hurlingham Chess Cup.
12 teams competed, split over two divisions and I am pleased to say that St Anthony’s won first place in division 2 winning an impressive 20 games out of 25.
The boys received their medals and there is an engraved chess trophy on its way to school that will be presented to the boys during assembly!
