“We are not called by God to do extraordinary things, but to do ordinary things with extraordinary love.”
The St. Anthony’s Striders running Royal Parks Half-Marathon
St. Anthony’s has always had a strong commitment to fundraising for charity. Parents work closely with the Headmaster and Heads of Houses to raise money each term for nominated charities. Throughout the year, the school holds a number of events, some serious and some simply for fun. As well as raising money, these events provide invaluable opportunities for pupils, parents and staff to meet socially. We are fortunate to have a good number of parents willing to share their time, contacts and skills to raise money and encourage a culture in which we develop an appropriate sense of duty to the local, national and international community. The choice of charities is decided after careful discussion. Over the past 3 years, we have raised in the region of £125,000 for our school charities.
The pupil School Council has two Charity Prefects who work with staff to encourage and organise charity events by the boys. In the Christmas and Summer Terms, the pupils organise Fayres with all the proceeds to designated charities.
Pupils are also encouraged to give assemblies on a chosen charity such as The Marie Curie Centre and The Passage.

The St. Anthony’s School Bursary Fund
At St. Anthony’s, we are determined to help boys from all backgrounds to enjoy an outstanding education. With this in mind, we have established the St. Anthony’s School Bursary Fund which will provide a St. Anthony’s education to talented boys from less privileged backgrounds.
This fund also operates as an essential support mechanism for the children of current St. Anthony’s parents . Support from our community, to raise funds for pupils whose parents fall into financial or other difficulty, allows us to continue to provide much needed assistance to such pupils.
