Year 3 Trip
Year 3 braved the rain for their trip to ZSL London Zoo on Wednesday. The boys are learning about Rainforests in Geography and loved spotting animals, measuring temperature and humidity and even touching a Madagascan Hissing Cockroach! Eco Warriors
The inaugural meeting of the Junior House Eco Warriors Club took place on Thursday morning, with representatives from each class, from Reception through to Year 3. Katalin and Liz guided the group and were so impressed by their enthusiasm, knowledge and their social skills. Over the next few weeks, the boys will be leading discussions…
Hobbies
This week, also saw the start of Junior House Hobbies, with Sports, Gardening, History and Dance on offer, in addition to our regular chess and table tennis clubs. We would welcome suggestions from the boys about what activities they would like to see on offer in the coming terms.
Geography Field Trip
Year 7 attended their CE Geography fieldwork trip to Juniper Hall in Surrey, on Friday.
Nutrition Assemblies
Both the Junior House and Senior House assemblies on Friday were led by Rory, from CH and Co., our catering providers, who talked to the boys about the importance of healthy eating and extolled the virtues of blueberries, beetroot, tomatoes and mushrooms as memory boosters, to provide natural sun protection and to enhance sporting stamina….
French Day
With cries of “Vive La France!”, boys at St. Anthony’s celebrated French Day in style this week. Mother’s Day ‘Spa Morning’
Our Reception boys held a Mother’s Day ‘Spa Morning’. The mums were treated to a back massage and hand rub by their sons and even had their nails painted.
Alumni Reunion
