This week at St. Anthony’s we are celebrating language learning as European Day of Languages takes place on Tuesday 26th September. On Monday morning the boys in the Junior House were visited by some of our Year 8s. The Year 8 boys introduced themselves in their home language and the audience guessed which language they were speaking in. It was fantastic to hear so many languages in our school community and also to see how engaged the younger boys were in learning languages of Europe and the wider world.
We have a lot of budding linguists and future global citizens in our midst! The celebrations continue for the rest of the week.
