Year 6 at a Science Workshop At Cambridge

On Tuesday, Year 6 pupils attended the Cambridge Schools’ Festival, where they participated in a stimulating and enriching academic programme. While at the University, the pupils engaged in a series of lectures and workshops spanning a wide range of disciplines, including materials science, history, mathematics, physics, and veterinary medicine.

They particularly valued the opportunity to take part in hands-on activities, such as constructing pinhole cameras, conducting experiments involving extreme temperatures, and learning about the care and treatment of animals.

Overall, the visit provided a highly enjoyable and intellectually rewarding experience, offering pupils a valuable insight into academic life at the University of Cambridge.
