Visit of Rabbi Jeremy Gordon

The Senior House Assembly on Friday was delighted to welcome back Rabbi Jeremy Gordon (an old boy of St Anthony’s). He spoke to the boys about the significance of Holocaust Memorial Day and conducted a fascinating discussion with them about the power of language. He gave the boys a brief history of the UN resolution which led to the day being embedded in national calendars.
It was a very rewarding experience for all involved and we were very grateful for the time he gave and the thought provoking discussion about our duties to others.
